The ULTIMATE: GREEN SMOOTHIE

YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS RECIPE.

With maybe a pinch of bias, I reckon this is the KING of the Green smoothie world.

The days of hating green veg are over ,my friends. No longer do we have to painfully shove it into us or reluctantly nibble at hard, dried up broccoli . There are other ways- this is one.

I can confirm this actually tastes good (no fake promises here).. and dare I say it – you don’t taste any “green veg flavour” 😉 With only 4 ingredients ( one being water) & a blender, it doesn’t get any easier.

What are you waiting for?- It’s time to dust off that blender & FEEL AMAZING!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 1 cup of Water
  2. 1 handful of spinach ( frozen or fresh) €0.99- a large bag- TESCO Buy it here
  3. 1 handful of Kale – €0.79- large bag – TESCO Click here to buy it
  4.  2 bananas- FROZEN- makes it super ice cold & delicious

HOW TO: This is key.

  1. First up- In a blender, pour in the water & add in the greens. **Top tip: this avoids getting those leafy green bits in your smoothie**
  2. Blend till it forms a liquid bright green juice.
  3. Then add in the bananas & blend till all is one mixture & there are no bits. At this point , you could add chia seeds, spirulina – whatever floats your boat.

And that’s it- super simple, super tasty & super healthy.

FUN FACT: Kale is the highest nutrient-dense food on the planet- ie. Get it into you!

Kale is the king– It’s very high in nutrients , low in cals and makes you feel AMAZING.
